CARD Foundation within the frames of its RED-NEO Project, funded by USAID, has organized an experience exchange visit mainly for Tavush region wine and dried fruit producers. The main objective of the visit was to show small-medium size production capacities and technologies to the farmers who are making their first steps in wine and dried fruit production. This is a good opportunity for CARD to create more synergies between on-going and past projects increasing per dollar investment impact. Over 1000 km way, from Chinari to Meghri, 14 farmers from Tavush (Chinari, Aygehovit, Yenokavan, Achajur, Aghavnavank) visited 4 wineries (vineyards, tasting halls) 5 dried fruit producing facilities, 1 organic fig orchard, 3 FSCs and what is more important they got the most valuable information and motivation to keep on working and boost sector with their activity.
