Workshop on animal identification and registration systems in Austria and Armenia
The "Animal Identification and Registration Systems in Austria and Armenia" workshop was held today, which was conducted by the experts of the "Agrarmarkt Austria" Agency, Rudolf Moser and Ruth Fischer.
The experts provided advice and proposed regulations to fill the existing gaps in the animal Identification and registration system in Armenia.
RA Deputy Minister of Economy Ashkhen Shirvanyan, Head of the Yerevan Office of the Austrian Development Agency Klaus Kapper, CARD Foundation Director Gagik Sardaryan, representatives of the RA Ministry of Economy, "Center for Agricultural Services" SNCO, RA Food Safety Inspection Body and other beneficiaries were also present at the workshop.
The animal identification and registration project has already been proceeding for 1 year in Armenia with great momentum, which has already registered success. The project is implemented with the funding of the Government of the Republic of Armenia by the "Center for Agricultural Services" SNCO. The Austrian Development Agency (ADA) provides financial and technical support to the project through the CARD Foundation.
